ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

Registration of new students begins February 1st for the upcoming school year.  Registration takes place online via the FACTS student information system. The SAS Enrollment Management Team (SAS EMT) of St. Anthony School reserves the right to interview all students and parents applying to SAS. The SAS Enrollment Management Team requires copies of report cards. Standardized scores, recommendations and any other samples of schoolwork may be requested to help SAS EMT to assess the student’s academic readiness and behavioral needs. The SAS Enrollment Management Team reserves the right to test any new applicant to determine their grade level, placement, and acceptance.

Families are notified of the enrollment status via email, usually within 1-2 weeks after submission of a completed FACTS application packet. A completed application packet includes copies of a student’s birth certificate, immunization record, most recent report card, and final report card from the previous year. Incomplete application packets are not reviewed and will delay enrollment notification. If the enrollment process is not completed, application packets will be inactivated after 3 months.

Acceptance:  Acceptance offers are sent via email. When an offer of acceptance is extended, families will have 5 days to complete the enrollment process by following the steps in the email.  Seats in classrooms are only reserved once the enrollment process is completed by the family.

Waiting Pool:  Families may also be notified of a waiting pool placement for their student via emailed letter; this placement does not reserve a seat. Students in the waiting pool will receive a monthly email indicating waiting pool status until the family requests removal from the waiting pool or a placement is made through an emailed acceptance.

Non-Acceptance:  If it is determined that SAS cannot meet the needs of the student, the parents will be advised to seek other placement through an emailed non-acceptance letter. Non-acceptance letters represent a final decision for that school year and will not be further reviewed with families.

RE-ENROLLMENT OF CURRENT STUDENTS:  Re-enrollment for students attending St Anthony School will occur in mid-January. If tuition payments are not current, or if students/families are not compliant with our attendance or behavioral policies, re-enrollment will not be accepted. If we determine that we cannot meet the needs of a student or if the student is interfering with the education of other students, we reserve the right to refuse re-enrollment. Returning families must enroll during the priority window (before the application opens up to the public) to reserve their student's seat for the upcoming school year.
